Tarrazú Reserva Especial is a coffee of unique quality and characteristics. Sourced from Costa Rica's premier coffee region, Tarrazú, this coffee is grown and micro-milled at its origin by the farmer in order to guarantee the purity of its special qualities. The plantation's elevation of approximately 6,000 feet above sea level produces SHB (Strictly Hard Bean).

Tasting Notes: Rich fragrance, aroma of chocolate, sweet caramel flavor with citrus notes, mild acidity.

Tarrazú Reserva Especial
I first bought ground coffee and cold brewed it. Excellent coffee! Next I ordered coffee beans to grind myself. I also purchased a hand grinder, now I’m looking for an electric one that I can control like my hand grinder. The coffee is excellent ground, or whole bean, but I think the whole bean will keep better than the ground, keeping the excellent flavor longer. If I could afford it, I buy ground biweekly, I’m retired and living on a fixed income. I wish the coffee was available at a more affordable price for shipping and handling. Thanks for the wonderful coffee, you’re the best I’ve found since I went to Costa Rica 10 years ago!

Tarrazu’ Reserva Especially Ground
I’m drinking my ground coffee now. I cold brew to remove acids, but I’m not sure I need to with this coffee. I ordered some beans to try in my French press by grinding the beans and then pressing the coffee. I think I found a new source for my coffee beans, you!

I stumbled upon this roaster while on holiday in CR. When i got back to the USA, I could not stop thinking about how good this coffee was. Needless to say, I have started bulk ordering to California and have zero regrets. Great company, great coffee.

We discovered Cafe Milagro ten years ago when we were visiting Costa Rica. We still love all your coffees but Terrazu is our favorite. We have had other coffees in Costa Rica on other visits but nothing compares in our views.

Favorite coffee ever
My uncle had a conservation station in Costa Rica. He and my aunt lived there for many years trying to keep the quetzal bird from becoming extinct. This was his favorite coffee. After his funeral last year, this coffee was served!
