Description

Tarrazú Reserva Especial is a coffee of unique quality and characteristics. Sourced from Costa Rica's premier coffee region, Tarrazú, this coffee is grown and micro-milled at its origin by the farmer in order to guarantee the purity of its special qualities. The plantation's elevation of approximately 6,000 feet above sea level produces SHB (Strictly Hard Bean). 

Awards: 2nd Place Grower, Cup of Excellence 2012

Tasting Notes: Rich fragrance, aroma of chocolate, sweet caramel flavor with citrus notes, mild acidity.

    Favorite coffee ever

    My uncle had a conservation station in Costa Rica. He and my aunt lived there for many years trying to keep the quetzal bird from becoming extinct. This was his favorite coffee. After his funeral last year, this coffee was served!

    We think this the best coffee you can get. We were fortunate that we happened to stop at a new cafe in Quepos CostaRica many years ago that was roasting coffee.. It was so good, we are still many years drinking it. Thank you Cafe Milagro!

    We started using the house light and dark roast while we lived in Cost Rica from 2010 to 2015. The moved to Abu Dhabi and ordered our coffee on line to be shipped to AbuDhabi and now live in Savannah GA which we order The point is this coffee is the best wherever one lives

    We love coffee and consume a lot of it. We're especially fond of oily, super-dark roasts. We've been hooked on a Canadian roast for a while, but on a recent trip to Costa Rica, our waitress at the Cafa told us about Tarrazu, which was also her favorite. We understand why. It is simply the best coffee we've ever had. The Cafe is also our favorite restaurant in Costa Rica!
